Books on my Fall TBR | Fantasy series I want to finish this year!

September was mostly about fantasy series and I’m planning to dedicate more time this year to finish some of the series I’ve started this and last year. Today I’m joining Top Ten Tuesday meme, hosted by Jana @ThatArtsyReaderGirl to share with you my Fall TBR, but mostly to talk about the books I’ll be prioritizing to hopefully finish some series!

I recently organized all of the series I’ve ever started / finished and DNF’d most of them. And was left with 22 series that I’m currently in the middle of. Out of these 22 series: I’m caught up with 6 and I want to finish / caught up with another 8.

The Newest Additions to My Bookshelf | The “post” Christmas Bookhaul!

2020 started very well for my bookbuying addiction. I received a few books for Christmas, my “Black Friday” buys finally arrived, and I also treated myself to some more books from the thrift bookshop. I think I will need to implement a rule soon when it comes to book buying at the thrift shop – to only purchase new books after finishing the ones I bought. Otherwise, I can see my TBR shelf getting out of control very quickly.

As of right now, I have approximately 78 unread books on my physical TBR. Considering that I’ve been reading mostly ARCs and E-books in December and January, and probably will continue this trend in February and March, this will become a BIG problem in 2020.

Book Blogging Firsts Tag | Taking a trip down memory lane!

In 2020 my blog will turn 5 years old (time flies when you’re having fun, right?), and I thought it would be very appropriate to start this year with Book Blogging Firsts Tag. I wasn’t actually tagged by anyone, and I know I still have tags I haven’t done from 2017 (I’m so sorry!!!), but we won’t talk about that and instead focus on these interesting prompts!

Beth @ Reading every Night did this tag last year and inspired me to do the same. Thank you, Beth! ❤

End of the Year Bookhaul | All the books I bought this year and haven’t read yet!

As I’m trying to get all my things organized before the end of 2019, it was about time I’d do my 4th and final book haul of 2019. In September and October I (somehow) accumulated 10 new books, some from the local thrift book store that I recently discovered, and some brand new ones influenced by the latest releases, and my favorite book of 2019 – «The Fountains of Silence» by Ruta Sepetys.

I loved her newest book so much that I just had to purchase her other books!

The NetGalley Book Tag | How do I choose books on NetGalley?

NetGalley is one of the main sources of new releases for me. I love the ever-growing community, the opportunity to read new and amazing books, that I’d probably wouldn’t have. It’s always more difficult for the international readers to get physical ARCs of books (and just ARCs in general), so I’m very thankful that NetGalley exists!

Thank you, Melanie @TBRandBeyond for tagging me! Melanie and Mireille run TBR and Beyond together. Their Top Ten Tuesday posts are always so much fun to read, make sure to check out their blog. 🙂

My Good Reading Habits | Book Tag

Oh, this was not easy! I thought I was decent when it came to reading books, especially since I’ve been doing that since I was little. I thought, I might have developed some good habits along the way!

I was wrong.

It literally took me over 2 hours to come up with FOUR good reading habits. So that’s what we are going with today.

Thank you, Meghan for tagging me! This post really helped me realized that I need to develop some more reading habits. 😀

28 Random Facts About Me!

This is going to be a very self-centered post, but Hey! Every once in a while, I think it’s allowed to stop talking books and focus on myself, especially with my 28th birthday coming up this Sunday, May 12th!

I would love to know how you usually celebrate your birthdays. Big loud parties or quiet family dinners?

I used to love my birthdays when I was younger. The excitement of inviting my school friends, creating different games, decorating my room with balloons! During more recent years, I tend to lean more towards family dinners and weekend get-aways. Something quieter and more relaxing than the craziness of hosting dinners.

April Book Haul | A mix of genres & Brandon Sanderson books!

After reading «Steelheart» by Brandon Sanderson, I decided to go ahead and order the rest of the books in the series and also the 2nd and 3rd books in Mistborn series, so I can finally binge read some Sanderson works!

Me ordering books online can sometimes be a little dangerous. I got slightly carried away and ended up getting some other books that have been on my TBR list for far too long!

10 Different Rainy Day Moods and Books Recommendations!

How do you usually feel when it rains? Do you wish for sunshine? Do you enjoy the calming sound of the raindrops?

Personally, rainy days for me are perfect to catch up on some blogging and reading. Although, I do enjoy reading in the sun as well. But there is something cozy about the rain and dark sky, the possibility to lit up a few candles and cuddle up with a book under a blanket. I’m definitely a cozy reader!

Today I’m joining the Top Ten Tuesday theme – Rainy Day Reads, with a slight twist. Let’s get started!
