The Harry Potter Book Tag | Beware of the spoilers!

As we are getting closer to the end of August, which means the end of the NEWTs read-a-thon (with me miserably failing to read the books on my NEWTs TBR), I’ve decided to cheer myself up a bit with a Sunday morning dedicated to all things Harry Potter.

I put my Harry Potter t-shirt, made myself a cup of tea in a Harry Potter mug, put the first movie on TV and sat down to write the Harry Potter book tag. This Sunday is starting magically!

Big thank you to my dear friend Jenna from Bookmark Your Thoughts, who thoughtfully nominated me to do this book tag! I feel like all of you already know and love Jenna’s blog (and her amazing personality), but if you, for some reason, are not familiar with her, please make sure to follow this link and befriend one of the kindest and nicest people in the bookish blogosphere!

The Book Addiction Tag | Where I discover that I’m a book hoarder!

I was tagged by the fellow blogger and my friend, Meghan from Meghan’s Whimsical Explorations & Reviews! She has a super power to write tons of reviews in a very short period of time (that I’m a little bit jealous of). Thank you for the tag! 🙂

Questions:

1 – What is the longest amount of time you can comfortably go without picking up a book?
2 – How many books do you carry on your person (or kindle) at any one time?
3 – Do you keep every book you buy/receive or are you happy to pass them on to make space for more?
4 – How long would you spend in a bookshop on a standard visit?
5 – How much time per day do you actually spend reading?
6 – Where does the task ‘picking up a book’ appear on your daily to-do list?
7 – How many books do you reckon you own in total (including e-books)?
8 – Approximately how often do you bring up books in conversation?
9 – What is the biggest book (page count) you have finished reading?
10 – Is there a book you had to get your hands on against all odds (i.e searching bookshops, online digging, etc.)?
11 – A book you struggled to finish but refused to DNF?
12 – What are 3 of your main book goals for 2019?
13 – Have you ever had the privilege of converting someone into a reader (maybe via inspiration or incessant nagging)?
14 – Describe what books mean to you in five words.

My Good Reading Habits | Book Tag

Oh, this was not easy! I thought I was decent when it came to reading books, especially since I’ve been doing that since I was little. I thought, I might have developed some good habits along the way!

I was wrong.

It literally took me over 2 hours to come up with FOUR good reading habits. So that’s what we are going with today.

Thank you, Meghan for tagging me! This post really helped me realized that I need to develop some more reading habits. 😀

The Ultimate Game of Thrones Book Tag | Only one episode left!

I stumbled upon the Game of Thrones Book Tag first on The Awkward Book Blogger, and immediately saved that post to not forget and participate in this tag. Because (as you probably already know) I’m LOVING the final season of Game of Thrones. There is only one more episode to go which makes me very sad, but at the same time, I’m glad that this whole story has come to the end.

After looking through the questions, I realized that I didn’t have an answer to most of them! Which sucks when you are doing a tag and are supposed to answer the questions. 😀 So I went googling!

As a result, I found these two posts of the Ultimate Game of Thrones Book Tag, done by Annemieke and Drew. And that is the tag I’m doing today!

Answering bookish and non-bookish questions| The Liebster Award!

This is actually my first time doing The Liebster Award (the trend of 2019 being the year of “first(s)” continues). I love reading Tags, I think they are a great tool to get to know each other better, but for some reason I never do them. It’s about time to join in on the fun!

Thank you, Jenna @Bookmark Your Thoughts for the nomination! I’ve been following closely Jenna’s blog, and just having a blast reading her posts. (especially the book reviews! I think I’m in love with the way she structures her posts!)

Stationary Book Tag

stationary book tag

As a true and proud bookworm, I am in love with all kind of STATIONARIES. Cute ones, black ones, simple and professional, or fun and colorful – I need them all and I need them now! Before you start accusing me of uncontrollable purchase of pens, pencils, notebooks and sticky notes, let’s clarify that I am actually not a hoarder (Books don’t count. Don’t look at my bookshelves! Don’t do it!).

I love watching YouTube videos about stationaries and DIYs but never actually get around to buy or try things myself. Which is (A) GOOD because it saves me tons of money, and (B) BAD because I rarely try new things. Continue reading “Stationary Book Tag”

The Fall Time, Cozy Time | Book Tag & Another Autumn Inspired Post

Here I am with yet another Autumnal post, because it’s still 30 degrees Celsius in Portugal and I am desperate for some Autumn weather. I stockpiled tons of candles, blankets and cozy socks, but the weather does not allow me to enjoy them to their fullest potential.

And lately, being in a reading slump, I feel like gloomier days will put me in a better reading mood. I’ve been trying everything to get myself excited about reading again and a much awaited rain session might do just that! The Unpopular Opinions BookTag | Or A Fun Way to Disagree!

I’ve been going through my huge list of pending tags, trying to pick something for this week and it felt like the perfect time to ramble and present before the Internet all of my unpopular opinions! (Who doesn’t like to do that?!)

Thank you, Ida@CassiopeiasMoon for tagging me! (it was quite a long time ago) But I am finally here to give my very controversial answers. Her reading tastes are the best! Make sure to check out her blog and also the Unpopular Opinions Book Tag. Continue reading “The Unpopular Opinions BookTag | Or A Fun Way to Disagree!”

Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag | Because I have read literally ten of them in one day and want to contribute!

Me? Posting Tag again?? What is happening?!

As title suggests, I’ve been seeing this tag EVERYWHERE. On WordPress, YouTube, and even on Instagram. And now I am also contributing my 5 pennies and freaking out a little bit because the first half of the year passed so quickly!

Thank you Joana @ Bookneeders for tagging me ❤ Make sure to check her amazing blog!   Continue reading “Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag | Because I have read literally ten of them in one day and want to contribute!”

The «Who Am I» Tag | Or an actual reason for doing those fun personality tests on-line!

As I am slowly approaching 500 followers on my blog (how insane is that?!) I finally decided to work on one of the tags I’ve been meaning to write for ages, and what can be better than giving you some extra information about myself! (not self absorbed at all!) Continue reading “The «Who Am I» Tag | Or an actual reason for doing those fun personality tests on-line!”

GoodReads Tag | Everything about my crazy reading schedule!

Big thank you to the wonderful fellow blogger Mandy @BookPrincessReviews for tagging me! I am honestly so happy that people still tag me even though I’ve been sooo lazy with tags! Thank you very very much!

GoodReads was one of those first bookish apps I ever had on my phone, followed later on by Amino Books and numerous others (until my phone protested to me installing any app due to the lack of memory, although I think he was just tired of my bookish obsession. Yes, my phone is a he. We have daily conversations and got to know each other fairly well. Let me if you want to know more about the day-to-day life of me and my pal phone.)
