Classic-a-Month | Reading challenge Update!

It has been a while since my last update, but I’ve been keeping good pace and reading those classics as planned! Also I couldn’t be happier with my printable and have been using it since January to track my progress. Continue reading “Classic-a-Month | Reading challenge Update!”

Booktube-A-Thon 2017 | Reading challenges, high hopes and TBR!

I am sure you all have heard of Booktube-A-Thon and seen a lot of announcement videos about it on YouTube. Obviously, I don’t make YouTube videos, but I would love to join the reading challenges.

Booktube-A-Thon will start on the 24th and end on the 30th of July, and even though I will have my usual work schedule, I have faith in my reading abilities to complete all of the challenges (maybe except the last one…). Carry On by Rainbow Rowell | A parody on fantasy?

It finally happened! After having it on my TBR for almost 7 months, in April I have read «Carry On». I love Rainbow Rowell and always will, but I was a little apprehensive to read her fantasy novel, and it’s for a good reason.

If you didn’t know, «Carry On» was a popular fantasy series first mentioned in «Fangirl» where Cate, the main character, was writing fanfiction for. Continue reading “Carry On by Rainbow Rowell | A parody on fantasy?”

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare | Disappointment is a light way of phrasing it!

Where do I even begin?! Last summer, around the same time, I read and fell in love with the new series by Cassandra Clare, more specifically «Lady Midnight» the first book in the Dark Artifices series. Being a fan of the Shadowhunter world for so long, I could have never imagined that a time would come when I didn’t like a book written by Cassandra Clare. And today I’ve decided to continue this rambling series and talk a little bit about my love for something else. Continue reading “Why do I love reading ARCs?”

Bring Her Home by David Bell |A Breathtaking new thriller!

This is my first experience reading a David Bell book and, honestly, I enjoyed it! For a book of almost 500 pages, it reads very quickly because it is impossible to take a break as there are still so many mysteries to unravel! July TBR 2017 | The month of massive fantasy series! + Reading Poll!

Just like the previous month, I will not be making a TBR list because (A) I am not sure what exactly I want to read and (B) it seemed to work better for me when I didn’t have to follow the list, but instead set up some small goals that I will strive to achieve during the month.
