My Most Anticipated Releases | March 2017

No month is quite the same in terms of book releases as the one that marks the beginning of a New Year. If I remember correctly, my ‘most anticipated books post’ in the month of January had over 10 different novels spread across a variety of genres. February brought us fewer exciting releases but still held its ground.

Now, March… This is the month that marks a new season – fresh, green and rejuvenated. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the books to be released during this marvelous time of the year.

I am sure there is an enormous amount of new novels coming our way, but only a few of them caught my bookish eye.30095464

«The Bone Witch» by Rin Chupeco was on the top of NetGalley’s “most requested” books for months and months prior to its release. That must say something, right? So it’s a very obvious most anticipated book for me, published on March 7th by Sourcebooks Fire.

Another fairly popular one, even before the official release is «Blood Rose Rebellion» by Rosalyn Eves that every lover of fantasy and, of course, «The Red Queen», will die for! This one is only being published on 28th of March by Knopf Books for Young Readers. So we need to take a deep breath and wait patiently for a little longer.

The other two books that I am very excited about (and was lucky enough to get the early copies) are «The Fearless Travelers’ Guide to Wicked Places» by Pete Begler and «Stay With Me» by Ayobami Adebayo. You can check my thoughts on the whimsical middle grade novel right here! Moreover my review and thoughts (and many many emotions) are coming your way still this week.

Let me know in the comments down below what your most anticipated releases of this month are! I definitely need to add some more, 4 books is not good enough! (My wallet might be grateful though).

With love,

Alex

      1. Well Hekla’s Children (a horror) and the Roanoke Girls (a mystery) have both just been published this month, so I’m excited for both of those as I had them on pre-order, so they’re just arrived. Also, Universal Harvester (a mystery, and also a book I’ve been excited about for about 6 months now) is getting released at the end of the month, so that’s another one I’m really looking forward to 😀
