It feels like July was the busiest month so far (and it feels like I say that every month), equally so at work and “school”. I finally finished my papers for the Lawyers Bar and delivered them in the last week of July! The first phase is done, over, completed… I intend to not think about it for at least 8 more happy weeks. I’ve read a total of six books in June, which I am more than happy about as it has been a very hectic and busy month and, what is even more impressive is that I managed to actually write some reviews on them! (Pep talk for myself right here.)

I’ve started this one at the very end of May, but finished in June so I am counting it towards my June wrap up. It’s a second novel in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Series. The third book is on my July TBR list. Trying to read and hopefully review them all before the movie comes out.
I am enjoying it quite a lot so far. Although I thought I would like it more… if that makes sense.

As all of you probably already know (as I have been talking about it a lot on every social media possible!), I am participating in a Read-A-Long of A Song of Ice and Fire series. In June we all read the first book of the series.
It was a reread for me and I really enjoyed it. The only downside is that it made me want to watch the first season of the T.V. show… and I just can’t afford to spend time on it right now!

June was a month of book series and trilogies for me! I’ve started yet another series – Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. And yet again, I thought I would like it more than I did… Maybe it’s the hype around it, perhaps the next books will be better.. (at least I hope so).

Nice Girls Endure by Chris Struyk-Bonn is an amazing novel that is coming out in August this year. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the arc. I will try to post the review closer to the release date so it would be more relevant.

Finally, I was in the mood for some very light reading, so I picked up one of the inumerous short crime novels that I own and…. was completely disappointed. One day I might show you all my huge collection of pocket-size books (wink, wink).

And! The star (no puns intended) of the month of June (drum roll please!) – was Attachments by Rainbow Rowell! Completely in love with her writing. If you want to read more of my few hundred words rambling, be sure to check out the review I posted last month.
