December will be the busiest month of the year for most of the bloggers, YouTubers, and people in general. For us, it means the beginning of the Christmas season, but also the final stretch of the year to try and reach all of those reading goals we set up for ourselves almost 12 months ago. There will be a lot of new holiday content, best and worst of the year wrap-ups, and not much time left for reading.
I reached my GoodReads goal in July this year, which was the first time ever that I managed to read 50 books in 6 months! The second half of the year wasn’t as productive in terms of reading, and as much as I’d love to reach 100 books, I don’t think it will be possible.
There are so many books that I was planning to read this year but haven’t gotten to them yet. But I also know that I can’t add too many books to my End of the Year TBR list, because there are only 6 weeks left to read them.
As much as I want to read all the books in the world, my number one priority will be finishing ARCs, writing reviews and starting the new year with a very organized NetGalley shelf!
We’re currently almost halfway through November, and there are only 6 weeks left before the craziness of the Christmas holidays begins. This means it’s about time to look back on 2019, reassess and reevaluate my goals and try to finish as many things as possible before the end of this year!
Because there are literally dozens of items on my End of the Year To-Do list, I decided to make a little series of blog posts and share with you my reading and life goals for the next month and a half.
