It has been a while since my last update, but I’ve been keeping good pace and reading those classics as planned! Also I couldn’t be happier with my printable and have been using it since January to track my progress. Continue reading “Classic-a-Month | Reading challenge Update!”
I am sure you all have heard of Booktube-A-Thon and seen a lot of announcement videos about it on YouTube. Obviously, I don’t make YouTube videos, but I would love to join the reading challenges.
Booktube-A-Thon will start on the 24th and end on the 30th of July, and even though I will have my usual work schedule, I have faith in my reading abilities to complete all of the challenges (maybe except the last one…). As holiday season is upon us, summer weather, school breaks and vacations, many of us are planning our own summer trips. This is a perfect time to show some of the places I was able to visit this and last year, and maybe show you some new places that are definitely worth visiting. Not so long ago, more precisely during the month of my blog anniversary, I rambled about my love for blogging. You can check the post here «Why do I love being a book blogger?» (Shameless Self Promotion 101).
And today I’ve decided to continue this rambling series and talk a little bit about my love for something else. Continue reading “Why do I love reading ARCs?”
It seems that even Publishers are taking some time off in July, because compared to the previous months, this one will be the quietest of them all!
Or maybe I am just waiting for more Fantasy / Dystopian / Sci Fi books while summer is all about contemporary? I am not sure! What I am sure about, is that there are only 3 books that I would like to get your attention to. Continue reading “My most anticipated releases | July 2017”
Do you ever think about how to make your blog look exactly the way you want? Do you find yourself changing the themes / colours / lay out every so often to satisfy your aesthetic needs? Because I do that on a daily basis. Okay, maybe not daily, but at least few times per month I need to change some little things, even though most of the time you won’t even notice the change.
This comes from two places: (1) I am a huge control freak and everything out of my reach will drive me crazy, (2) appearance of my blog makes AN ENORMOUS difference on my writing mood! Continue reading “What do you imagine your blog to look like and what does it take to make it a reality?”
This post is a little bit late this month, but there are some VERY good books coming out in June and I just have to share them with all of you!
As you all know, May was an amazing month of popular book releases. June will be a little bit quieter and there are a few books that I am not as excited about as everyone else, but I will include them in a separate category for people that might be anticipating. Continue reading “Most Anticipated Releases | June 2017”
When I first started my blog in March last year I wasn’t a blog reader. I didn’t follow any bookish blogs or any blogs for that matter. All I was looking for is a space of my own where I can keep my thoughts and opinions on recently read books. And if you scroll all the way down to my very first posts, they all consisted of reviews, because What else should I blog about if all I do is read books?! Continue reading “Why are Reviews the lesser viewed posts and why do we keep writing them?!”
