Most Anticipated Releases | July 2020

That’s it! We are officially halfway through the year. I recently saw Dini mentioning how these six months passed very quickly but at the same time it felt like we lived multiple years in a span of just a couple of months and I definitely agree with that.

July tends to be a “chill” month for book releases. But not this year! I was able to find 9 (NINE!) books I was excited about, and to tell you a little secret, some of them I already read and LOVED! *wink*

However, I didn’t spot any fantasy books releasing next month. But I’m sure I will find them in one of your Top Ten Tuesday posts. 😀 This week it’s all about most anticipated releases for the second half of 2020.

  1. You read so much more in adult lit than I do, which is why I love coming to your blog. I haven’t heard of any of these adult books but both Transcendent Kingdom and It Is Wood, It Is Stone sound phenomenal. Thank you for making my journey in adult literary fiction a little bit easier 💕

    1. I definitely reach more for Adult books now, but I love YA from time to time and Middle Grade as well. Basically, I read everything there is 😀 I’m so glad that this was helpful! Sadly, I didn’t get the ARC of Transcendent Kingdom, but that means that I’m even more excited to buy it as soon as its out.

    1. I was lucky to get the ARC of One to Watch and I already read it at the end of June, and tbh… I didn’t love it the way everyone else seems to. Something about it didn’t feel right. But I hope you’ll love it, it has some great representation and feels an important book to read even though it’s so lighthearted at first sight.

  3. The pull of the stars is also one of my really Anticipated releases. I have not read Room yet but I have heard really good things about Emma Donoghue.

I hope you enjoy all the books on your list!

    1. Ahaha, same 😀 I saw the movie (Room) and it was good, but now that I know the plot I don’t know if I’ll be reading the book. Her newest one, on the other hand, sounds absolutely incredible.
