February 2020 Monthly Goals | Cosmerealong, the “Literally Dead” book club & huge TBR!

For the first time in years, I have a proper TBR to share with you today, and these are all the books I have to read this month – either because I’ll be joining book clubs and read-a-longs, or because I want to read certain ARCs before their publication date.

This TBR comes with a set of rules:

  • I can’t add any more books, and
  • I’m not allowed to switch any of these out.

If you remember, one of my goals for 2020 was to read less. So, of course, the first thing I do when 2020 starts is read a ton of books, and spend all of my free time on reading instead of studying *facepalm*

I wasn’t actually that bad at studying in January, and I got a lot of things done. 👍

MY FEBRUARY TBR

MY FEBRUARY GOALS

1 – Start the Witcher book series. The Witcher TV show was one of my January highlights! I really loved the story, the characters, the way it was showed to us. While I’m still in love with the TV show, I’d like to start the book series and hopefully love it as well.

2 – Read more ARCs. I read 6 ARCs last month! I have no idea how I did it but I need to figure it out quickly, because many of the ARCs on my TBR are going to be published in February and March, and I need to read them before the publication date.

3 – Participate in the Cosmerealong – starting with «Elantris». My dive into the Cosmere universe is going to happen this year, and the COSMEREALONG will be a huge help! I like how “chilled” this read-a-long is. Basically, we will have 5-6 weeks to read each book in this year-long readathon, which is perfect for me this year.

4 – Join Kayla’s (Booksandlala) Book Club – February pick – “The Other People” by C. J. Tudor. I’m a huge Kayla’s fan! I discovered her channel in 2019, binge-watched all of her reading challenges and felt mesmerized bu her amazing ideas. Besides, I’ve been reading C.J. Tudor books since 2018 and plan on pre-ordering all of her future releases.

5 – Stay on top of blog posts and my to-do list. Surprisingly, I managed to stay very organized throughout all January – from scheduling reading time to planning my days to a tee, I did so many things, and it felt very good to finally catch on many things that have been on my To-Do list for many months. I’d love to carry this momentum into the next month as well!

What are your plans and goals for February 2020? How many books do you HAVE to read next month? 😀

  1. Ooooh I’m so excited for you to read The Diviners, it’s one of my fave series of all time! And now is the PERFECT time to start it, bc the final book comes out this month, so you won’t have to wait a million years for sequels to appear like I did 😂

  2. I just started The Witcher series a few days ago! Really love The Last Wish so far. 🙂 The show is SO good, I don’t know why I haven’t read the books earlier 🤔 I’ll probably read The Witcher the whole February, plus some arcs and the Locke & Key graphic novels because I’m really excited for the Netflix premiere on February 7th 🙂 Nice Post!

    1. The Witcher TV show was amazing!!!! I was a bit scared that I wouldn’t like the books as much as I loved the TV show, but seeing that you’re enjoying them makes me even more excited to start reading them!
      Here’s to a great February! ❤

  3. Oh my god, this demonstrates a more rigorous and exacting form of self-mastery than I will every be capable of. I make a TBR list every month, and consider myself lucky if I end up picking up even three of them! Best of luck for you on all of your goals, and can’t wait to see how you end up doing this February!

    1. Ahah, I’m very curious to see if I actually read these books in February. That’s why I usually never do TBRs, but with all read-a-longs, book clubs and book releases it was unavoidable. Lol
Thank you! I hope February will be a great month for you too! 🙂

    1. Yeah… same, that’s why I don’t like making tbrs, lol. But this month it kinda made sense to have a list of books to read. I read three so far and currently working on my 4th one. So it’s going alright so far. Thank you! I hope February is treating you well too! 🙂
