As we are getting closer to the end of the year, I’m starting to feel a little bit overwhelmed by the number of things that I need to get done. To avoid going crazy and getting myself even more stressed than I currently am, I decided to make only a few reading and blogging monthly goals so I can focus more on my work and internship.
I’m staying positive and believe in my ability to fit more hours in a day. 😀
MONTHLY GOALS
1 – Keep up with the blogging schedule.
Last weekend I finally organized my messy Google Calendar*, which I use as my “editorial calendar”, sorted ideas for future blog posts and set schedules for the next couple of months. Now, all I need to do is try and keep up with the blogging schedule I set out for myself.
*Let me know if you’re interested in seeing how I use Google Calendar to organize my blog posts. 🙂
2 – Read ARCs and clear up the NetGalley queue.
In an ideal world, the organized me would be prioritizing ARCs over other books. However, that doesn’t happen very often. I have 5-6 ARCs that were already released this year. I’m making it my goal to read and review them in November!
3 – Focus on the upcoming exams.
I’ve made a study plan for my exams in May / June 2020, but it won’t work if I don’t focus on my studies and dedicate more time actually following the plans I made.
What are your plans for November? Are you panicking about the end of the year? Let me know in the comments below!

I have ONE book left to catch up on NetGalley and then I’m good! I’m not requesting any for a while … I have so many books on the go and I know I have at least two more ARCs coming. Great goals! I’m hoping to keep up this month since I wasn’t as active last month ha-ha!

I have 9… lol 😀 two of them will only be released next year, so that makes it 7. I’m sure I can manage, I just need to stay strong and not request any new books 😀

OH MY GOSH! ALEX! I’ve been avoiding the temptation to request more ha-ha! I just try to realize how many books I have to get to on my current bookshelves at home ha-ha!

I know… I know… But those were “new” and “exciting” releases and there is no way I can stay strong and not request them 😀 ahah

Oh how I understand the quandary that is Netgalley. My New Year’s Resolution for 2019 was not to request any new arcs and catch up on the ones I had requested. I made it about half the year. 😉 I currently have 8, all but two are for next year though. It’s just too easy to click that request button. What’s sad is usually I’m relieved when I don’t get approved for something.
Good luck on your exams and conquering that Netgalley tbr!

Thank you so much! I was planning to “start” studying last weekend but that didn’t happen… now I need to plan for this weekend, but I can already see that it won’t be easy. Lol
Why don’t we have more hours in a day?!
I think I also have 8 pending ARCs atm. One of them I already read, just need to review and two are for 2020. So I’m in a pretty good spot. I’d love to finish all of them this year and then request all of my 2020 anticipated releases. ahah

Actually, I’ve only recently realized we are, in fact, in November, and almost done with this year. I must have had goals set but to be honest I can’t remember them! 😛 so my goal is to check on them, see how I’ve done and how I can improve to make the last months of 2019 the best possible! Besides that, I just wanna work on my mindset and try to enjoy life at the moment! No pressure for reading or blogging (if I do, that’s a huge bonus tho). Have a great November ❤

Thank you, love ❤ Considering your Erasmus program, Uni and tons of work you need to do, I 100% agree with you that doing blogging and reading on the side is a huge achievement. And so far you've been posting very regularly!
Ahaha, checking on the goals sounds perfect! Actually I also need to check what goals I set up for myself in the beginning of this year and see if I was able to achieve any of them 😀
