Science Fiction and Dystopian Books with numbers in the titles | Another Fall TBR!

I love TTT (Top Ten Tuesday) topics that I can put my own twist to. This week we are supposed to talk about Books with numbers in the titles, and I had a hard time deciding WHAT books exactly I wanted to talk about. There are just too many possibilities!

After starting to compile my lists for Books I read that had numbers in the titles and All Agatha Christie books with numbers in the titles. I decided to settle on a list of Dystopian and Sci-Fi books, creating another fall TBR! (this Autumn will be known as TBR Autumn). 

Just a few days ago I started reading a dystopian novel «Cell»* by Stephen King that reminded me why I used to love science fiction and apocalyptic books so much!

*This book is GREAT, btw! I’m more than half way through and have a trouble putting it down.

This is the only book from this list that I actually own but still haven’t read it (the story of every book I buy…) In the beginning of this year, I was in a mood for stories about people re-living their lives that I purchased this books and also «Life After Life» by Kate Atkinson (which I also haven’t read…)

This one was featured in one of Emily Fox videos at BooksWithEmilyFox. I adore her channel! Her taste in books is very similar to mine, so when she mentioned «Station Eleven», of course I had to add it to my TBR right away!

«The 100» is one of my (and my bf’s) favorite TV shows! We binged the last episodes that came out this year and now there is nothing more to watch… I heard that the TV show is very different from the books, so I can read the book as I’m waiting for the further episodes to come out.

Do I even need to say anything? «Illuminae» is one of the best YA sci-fi, «Obsidio» and «Gemina» were just as great. There is no reason for me to NOT read «LIFEL1K3» as well.

I love Jules Verne. His books are so adventurous. They remind me of some middle grade books that I used to read when I was little. I actually read this before, but I don’t remember it as well as his other novels – perfect reason to re-read!

For some reason, «1984» and «Fahrenheit 451» weren’t in our school literature program. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We’ve read War and Peace, and Crime and Punishment, and tons of other amazing classics, but not these. And since they are quite short I would love to read them still this year.

the dark tower series by stephen king

This is the second book in the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, but since it fits into this prompt that’s what I’m using here. As I mentioned earlier, I’m currently reading my first Stephen King book – «The Cell», and I’m loving it. This means I will definitely read more Stephen King books in the future. The Dark Tower series are a must read!
