As a true and proud bookworm, I am in love with all kind of STATIONARIES. Cute ones, black ones, simple and professional, or fun and colorful – I need them all and I need them now! Before you start accusing me of uncontrollable purchase of pens, pencils, notebooks and sticky notes, let’s clarify that I am actually not a hoarder (Books don’t count. Don’t look at my bookshelves! Don’t do it!).
I love watching YouTube videos about stationaries and DIYs but never actually get around to buy or try things myself. Which is (A) GOOD because it saves me tons of money, and (B) BAD because I rarely try new things.
Moving forward, a lovely fellow blogger at TheBookMermaidBlog passed the torch of book tag to me and now it is my responsibility to keep the relaying! (I just figured out that I probably murdered thousands of other “relay races” by not doing the tags on time… Hopefully, someone else covered my slack.)

PENCILS: FAVOURITE CHILDREN’S BOOK
There were quite a few books that I read (or asked to be read to me) and reread over and over again. First would be «Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland». I had this huge illustrated edition of Alice and I used to play with it all the time. Yes, you heard right. I also played with it besides reading, because it had many wonderful pictures.
The second one would be a little bit of a cheat – the collection of Brothers Grimm stories. One of the stories my mom probably hates right now, because I made her read it to me over and over and OVER AGAIN. #noregret

PENS: A BASIC STAPLE FOR ANY READER
I want to say «Harry Potter», I really do. The most popular books usually vary from country to country, something that might be very well-known in Russian is completely unknown in Portugal, for example, and vice versa. But! Everyone on this planet Earth knows the story of the boy who lived and he who must not be named!
Also, a great book to start your career as a bookworm. There is no better story to get you to adore reading.

NOTEBOOKS: BOOKS YOU OWN A MULTIPLE COPIES OF
I don’t usually buy different copies of the same book. It happens though that I have the whole Harry Potter (yes, we talking about it again) collection in Russian, I have the 5th and 6th books in English as well, and the first two books in the illustrated edition in Portuguese. What can I say? I love my Harry Potter shelf!

MARKERS: BOOKS WITH BEAUTIFUL COVERS
Recently, after starting my bookstagram account I’ve been more aware of covers and how well they will harmonize with my feed’s theme, and so on (boring bookstagram thoughts). One of the books that came out last year (also an absolute favorite of mine, so if you haven’t read it yet, make sure to pick it up!) is «The Bear and the Nightingale» UK hardcover edition. OMG! How gorgeous is it?

GLUE: TWO CHARACTERS THAT WORK TOGETHER EVEN IF THEY AREN’T TOGETHER
People mentioned Neville and Luna, and my eyes were of the size of two plates (i.e. surprise face).
I am not a fan of romances. I love adventures, mystery, series of difficult to overcome events and honestly never even think about romance unless the author includes it in the story.

SCISSORS: WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU LIKE TO DESTROY
Are you crazy?! Don’t destroy books!
Can’t think of any. There are obviously books that I don’t like and sometimes even don’t finish, but I don’t think I would destroy them. I just put them in the darkest corner of my shelf for no-one to find.
