The «Who Am I» Tag | Or an actual reason for doing those fun personality tests on-line!

As I am slowly approaching 500 followers on my blog (how insane is that?!) I finally decided to work on one of the tags I’ve been meaning to write for ages, and what can be better than giving you some extra information about myself! (not self absorbed at all!)

Thank you, Emma @cornreviewsbooks for tagging me! Even though it was quite a long time ago, I never forget and actually have a special folder for tags only.

Let’s see what scandalous information I can dig out on myself!

1 – What is the meaning of my name?

Alexandra is a name of Greek origin and it means “defending men”. Not that I am defending anyone, but I guess it’s cool.

However, the best name definition I found was from urbandictionary, so I quote (for everyone’s amusement):  

Alexandra

One of the best friends you could ever meet. Sometimes quiet and patient but when she’s around a group she is wild and fun. She is always there to listen to you and give you a hug if you need one. She is willing to try anything and is very athletic. She can talk for hours or just have no idea what’s going on. She is an overall great person to be around.

Megan-who’s that girl over there?

Zach-I dont know but she’s really hot!

Zach-I think her name is Alexandra.

Megan-Yeah she looks like an Alexandra

There you go, a small and very accurate summary of my personality right here! (Jokes aside, CHECK YOUR NAMES ON URBANDICTIONARY!!!)

2 – What is my Myer-Briggs personality type? (Link)

I am not sure what’s going on here! According to the results of the test I am a Defender (again.. I will be defending books from Zombie apocalypses!)

Here is some of my “strength” for everyone to see:

• Reliable and Patient – Rather than offering sporadic, excited rushes that leave things half finished, Defenders are meticulous and careful, taking a steady approach and bending with the needs of the situation just enough to accomplish their end goals.
• Imaginative and Observant – Defenders are very imaginative, and use this quality as an accessory to empathy, observing others’ emotional states and seeing things from their perspective.
• Enthusiastic – When the goal is right, Defenders take all this support, reliability and imagination and apply it to something they believe will make a difference in people’s lives – whether fighting poverty with a global initiative or simply making a customer’s day.
• Loyal and Hard-Working – Given a little time, this enthusiasm grows into loyalty – Defender personalities often form an emotional attachment to the ideas and organizations they’ve dedicated themselves to.

Many nice adjectives, that I would not necessarily apply to myself but the way they explain things are pretty accurate to my personality, with few flaws here and there. 

3 – What is my Zodiac Sign?

I was born on May 12th and I am a Taurus! Very stubborn, yes! I found some strength of my sign (because surely I don’t want to show my weaknesses on the Internet!) – Strengths: Reliable, patient, practical, devoted, responsible, stable.

4 – What is my Hogwarts House? (Link)

My results for this test are

• Hufflepuff – 13
• Gryffindor – 12
• Ravenclaw – 11
• Slytherin – 7

I’ve been getting very mixed results with Hogwarts houses. I was sorted to Ravenclaw before. On pottermore I belong to Gryffindor and now I got into Huffepuff. Anything but Slytherin, am I right?!

5 – Am I Right or Left Brain Dominant? (Link)

I am left brained and full of logic and rationality. If only that would be true all the time…

6 – What is my Blood Type?

Skipping this one as I honestly have no idea…

7 – What Career Am I Meant To Have? (Link)

WRITER?! No, that can’t be right.

You have a skill for language, your imagination is vast and you are artistic and creative. Your brain is just overflowing with ideas, and all you have to do is get a piece of paper and share it with the world. You were born to turn words into magical stories

It is actually one of professions I’d never pick. Learning more and more new things about myself.

8 – Which Divergent Faction Do I Belong In? (Link)

I belong in Abnegation! Actually my first time ever taking a “divergent” test.

9 – What Does My Birth Order Say About Me? (Link)

Considering that I am the only child, I think this test is wasted on me.
