This post is a little bit late this month, but there are some VERY good books coming out in June and I just have to share them with all of you!
As you all know, May was an amazing month of popular book releases. June will be a little bit quieter and there are a few books that I am not as excited about as everyone else, but I will include them in a separate category for people that might be anticipating.
Let’s start with MY MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASES of this month!
1 – «Words in Deep Blue» by Cath Crowley, was published on June 6th, and I had a great privilege of receiving an ARC of this book through NetGalley (Thank you so much!) and reading it before the actual release date.
A heartbreaking story of young love, loss and the power of words, set in a small town’s bookshop turned out to be one of my favourite books of this year! Make sure to have a pen, pencil and other tools needed to highlight and write down all of the beautiful quotes!
2 – «Roar» by Cora Carmack is coming out this week, on tuesday the 13th and it sounds so INTERESTING! It’s the first book in the Stormheart series, featuring kingdoms, ruling families, arranged marriage and MAGIC! Honestly, I am very intrigued by it and surprised to not see many people mentioning this book.
3 – Another amazing book on my radar this month (that I also had the pleasure of reading earlier) is «Every Last Lie» by Mary Kubica, to be published on June 27th.
This book was a roller-coaster of emotions and most importantly A MYSTERY! Just when I thought that I understood everything, my beliefs would crumble and new theories just appeared.
4 – And finally the last book I am very interested in is «The Child» by Fiona Barton, that is coming out on June 29th. It contains all the elements that I enjoy in a good book:
- (1) crime and the process of putting all the puzzle pieces together,
- (2) secret locked away for years and
- (3) engaging mystery.
As promised, here are the other anticipated releases of this month that some of you might be interested in:
These three are all series sequels and since I haven’t read the first books I am not particularly excited to get my hands on these books just yet.
The last one is «Once and for All» by Sarah Dessen. I am not a fan of Sarah Dessen’s books but I’ve heard many good things about this book, so I might give it a try… eventually!
What new releases are you interested in this month? Let me know in the comments down below!
With love,
Alex
I had no idea Cora Carmack was releasing a new book! I love her can’t wait to read this one now! -Avi

I used to live exclusively on thrillers and crime novels. Very excited to read a little bit more of one of my favourite genres 🙂

«Words in Deep Blue» was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Yes, you are right. Think it was published in Australia last year and now Cath Crowley is getting some international love as well 🙂

Sadly I haven’t read it yet but only because I’m already reading something else and don’t want to never pick it back up. But hopefully soon.
