It’s the last day of the year and frankly I am (A) very glad that 2016 is finally over and there is a chance that 2017 will be so much more better, and (B) stupefied about how quick time has passed!
One of the things that I want to improve in the coming year is reading classics! I say it every year and every year I failed miserably. Continue reading “2017 Reading Challenge + Free Printable!”
When someone asks me: “Alex, what would you like for Christmas?” My immediate and only answer is BOOKS (or anything bookish). This answer never changes and it is always the same for any other occasions. Continue reading “Christmas BookHaul | Because I can never have enough books!”
Have you ever thought what would happen if the Sun and the Moon started a war? A space war! And their target would be the Earth! How would it be to live under constant sunlight or in permanent shadows? You are intrigued, aren’t you?
Elena Schauwecker definitely gave a lot of thought into this whole planet vs star, star vs planet situation. Continue reading “The Silver Key by Elena Schauwecker | Blog Tour and GIVEAWAY”
One of the most anticipated YA reads of this December is a first book in a new fantasy series and I must say I love the cover! And the trustworthy college professor ran away, seen by few neighbours and town visitors.

Just about a week ago I posted my selection of Christmas books and then something hit me! “How can we talk about Christmas reading without including some of the best and most famous classics?!” Each title fills me with warmth (like a sip of mulled wine *wink wink*).
Whether you’ve never read them or if you read them too many times, still make sure to flip through these amazing Christmas fairy tales. Let’s get started! Continue reading “Classic Christmas Stories”
Just as in Autumn, it is time to finally make my blog as X-masy as my house! Christmas trees, fairy lights and tons of sparkles – all I need to feel extra festive during this time of the year.
As I am writing this small “update post” I would love if you could link your Instagram / Twitter and Goodreads accounts in the comments down below! I am always searching for new and amazing accounts to follow and to get inspired ♥
We are all very productive and efficient on a day-to-day basis (Don’t argue with me! Just let’s pretend that we are). But all of us have those days when nothing seems to get done.
We have a huge to-do list in front of us, but something is always stopping us from doing it. We’d rather lay down and watch Netflix or TV or YouTube videos for hours and hours (Believe me, I waste so much time on YouTube!). Continue reading “How to stay at the top of your game”
