What books are you currently reading?
I have three books on my “currently reading” shelf (just stacked on my nightstand no specific shelf here).
It is the second book in A Song of Ice and Fire series, «A Clash of Kings» by George R.R. Martin. I completely failed the Read-a-Long of this series and only read 200 pages last month. I am not DNFing it just yet!
The second book I am currently reading is «Clockwork Princess» by Cassandra Clare, the final book in Infernal Devices trilogy and I can’t wait to see how it all ends. So many mysteries left to unveil.
Finally, the last e-book I’ve started reading not so long ago is «Girl Online» by Zoe Sugg. Lately, I have been obsessing over Zoella’s YouTube channel and decided to give it a try. Currently only few chapters in so can’t judge just yet, but I am enjoying it quite a lot.
What’s the last book you finished?
It was «Dark Places» by Gillian Flynn and I am in love with her thrillers! OMG!
I have read «Gone Girl» in the beginning of this year (my review is here if you would like to check it out) and absolutely loved every single page.
«Dark Places» was not quite as good but still mindboggling. I will shortly be doing a full review on it.
Favourite book you read this year?
This is a hard one. I feel like I’ve read many great books and also many good books that I just wasn’t in the mood for. But for the answer I will go with «Fangirl» by Rainbow Rowell! (also reviewed here).
Cath was just such a relatable character, I flew through the book in one sitting.
What genre have you read most this year?
Probably YA fantasy, that is why lately all I want to do is to NOT read YA fantasy…
What genre have you read least this year?
Historical Fiction! Definitely. I just don’t buy a lot of historical fiction… Not sure why. Something I need to change very soon.
What genre do you want to read more of?
Probably «Dystopian». I had so much fun reading the Divergent series and I really want to get my hands on the Maze Runner series!
How many books have you read this year, and what’s your goal?
So far I’ve reached 40 out of fifty books goal this year. GoodRead is very kind to tell me that I am 10 books ahead of my schedule which makes me very happy.
I set up a goal of 50 books in the beginning of the year thinking that this year would be crazy busy and I wouldn’t be able to read much, but I have been doing just alright and might set my goal higher at some point.
What’s the last book you bought?
My very last book purchase was «If I Stay» by Gayle Forman. I am planning a relaxed evening this week to sit down and devour the book (it is relatively short).
What book are you saving up to buy next?
All of them obviously!! Duh!
On a more serious note, I am not quite sure. I am in the mood for some classics, so my next purchase might very well fall into this category.
How many books did you check out last library visit?
This questions reveals the fake bookworms. As embarrassing as this might sound, I went to a library only once this year, AND didn’t bring any book back with me. (Feel free to shame me on this one!)
What’s a book you can’t wait to read?
«Harry Potter and the Cursed Child»!!! I still haven’t received it and the delivering company seems to be in no hurry giving it to me. If they only knew WHAT book is in there!
What’s a series you’d recommend to everyone?
Very obvious one here… But it is just the best series of all times! If you still haven’t read Harry Potter (SHAME ON YOU!) you should immediately pick it up and start reading!
Who’s an author you’re hoping writes more?
Rainbow Rowell. Her books are inspiring, light and full of happiness!
A few books your heart adores?
I will pick a few less obvious ones that really stood out for me: «Windhaven» by George R.R. Martin, a spectacular story! «Gone Girl» by Gillian Flynn and… «The Martian» by Andy Weir.
What series’ coming conclusion makes you sad?
I am slowly catching up with the most “popular” series. But honestly at the moment there is no ongoing book series I absolutely love.
What books are on your wish-list?
All the books in the World! (Especially when I am in the book stores… ).

Thank you for such a lovely shout out! ❤ I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to comment on this post – I’m a bad blogger! Eeeek I hope you’re loving Clockwork Princess – I adore the Infernal Devices! That book is such a heartbreaker. Dark Places is awesome, right? I really hope Flynn writes another book soon. There’s no other crime writer like her. 🙁 Great tag. 😊 x
